The First Day in Belfast

We left Dublin at 10:30 am after having been waiting the bus for one hour. During the trip Fred told us the politic history of Ireland. Despite it was interesting, some people wasn’t listening to him very attentively because we haven’t been sleeping enough. After the “French invasion” of the hostel, some cooked for the hungry teenagers “pasta carbonara”. Then we were expecting the new English teacher who provoked a big riot when he arrived. He presented himself to us as Joseph, an Irish man and he doesn’t speaking English at all.

In order to finish this “hard day”, we watched the movie “Bloody Sunday” in English (without subtitles!!!). At the beginning, a French speaking Irish man named Mickael explained to us the historical context of the story. We got on well with him and he offered to be our guide for the next day in the catholic district.

Finally, we ran to bed with a lot of enthusiasm!
